DJ Gimpydog
It all started on a beautiful autumn day back in 1959. The first born of twins Carl was a lovely baby. Looking back at that wondrous start one can only ponder, what the heck went wrong? Carl is a retired License Arborist and former Marine. He spends his time tormenting his two sons with stem winding stories about, “when I was a kid”. He’s active in disabled sports teaching Riflery, Hunters Education as well as Sled Hockey. Carl’s love of Vinyl began when his parents purchased their first HiFi set. Carl would watch as his father carefully lifted the stylist to the record. As the needle approached the gently waving rippling revolving vinyl his father would demand the house go still. Any movement could send the needle skipping across the record thus ruining the listening experience. This forced a young Carl to listen. He's still listening!

DJ WalkerHC
My name is WalkerHC and I live in Darlington county South Carolina where the topography is dominated by soybean, peanut & cotton fields. I live by myself,but, I do have three cats, a possum and a mouse or two who live with me. I like music that is up-beat and positive, although, I have some of everything in my library. It is "a mix" with plans to enlarge my music library. I became a member of Soulful Encounters early 2007 and it has been, it is now and it will without any doubt always continue to remain a genuine life-altering blessing that has a habit of bringing about very substantial and refreshing pleasure.

I was a tractor trailer--semi truck driver but hurt my back. I like to hunt big game and fish but can’t get around like I once did. I have been to Montana, Wyoming and Canada to fish and hunt and caribou hunting was great fun. My last hunt with with my Dad. Friends and family did this together and it was a great way to bond. We told great stories, played cards, had meals and adventure. I have so many fond memories from all these trips. My hobbies are sight seeing, photography, nature and computers. I have a great love of music and like soft rock and country western music.

Charles, who has cerebral palsy, spent many years housebound and developed a love for his little family which consists of a bird, two dogs and a cat. Since he seldom got a chance to be outdoors he began tinkering with computers and developed a love for music.....mostly country genre.

I am Rikrob, 47 yrs old and I live in Butler, PA. I was an area dj for 10 years and started playing drums and guitar in local bands at the age of 16. This all stopped, in 2007, when I suffered a stroke. I really love music because it effects our lives in many different ways. Music can pick you up or bring you down, and help u through the hard times. Isn't music wonderful?

As you can tell by my photo I'm quite a character. I'm naturally a fun guy who enjoys making people laugh. I love music, movies, video games, and even cartoons on occasion. My nephew loves me for that. My music varies from metal to funk to classic rock and sometimes other surprises thrown to make it interesting. I was raised in a military family so I make friends easily. I've lived in some pretty cool places in the pacific like Okinawa, Japan starting an obsession with the place, and Guam where my younger brother was born. I love learning about new cultures so I may throw some interesting facts into my show randomly.

I am a disabled mother of four disabled children. I discovered the supremacy of a greater power which compelled me to become a Christian. My disability is a life challenge but God intervenes enhancing my self esteem. My children also progress phenomenally in spite of their disabilities. I am happily involved with Sun Catcher TRA a horse therapy group in addition to involvement to my sons hockey and Boy Scouts. At SoulfulEncounters.com I found other disabled persons who accepted me as I am.
I now feel blessed to be part of SoulfulEncountersRadio with "The Coffee With Tee Show".

I'm a mother of two; grandmother of one who lives in Canada and formerly of Idaho. I play a real mixture of music and enjoy the company of my many friends here. My other interests are writing, gardening, fishing and service dogs. I lead a happy, busy life and my disability is just a minor inconvenience. I've always loved a challenge and this has been a big one I'm still working on. SE is my happy home away from home and I love meeting and chatting with you all. I was born and raised in the great city of Chicago, my music career started at the age of 13. I was following behind my two older brothers who were in bands themselves. Being a fan of Wolfman Jack, the famous 70’s DJ, I decided to combine my first name with my hometown’s fame and came up with “Hogman Jack”. I invite everyone to tune in to the Hogman Jack show, and enjoy a mix of 60’s - 90’s rock and country. I might even squeeze in a bit of disco here and there.
